Quartz rings, or any other jewelry type, should not ever, ever, ever, be worn alone, unless it is Lemurian, Atlantean, or Wish Seeds. It should always be worn with another stone type, so that it can amplify that stone type's energy. Size matters greatly when wearing quartz as jewelry, it only takes a tiny piece of quartz to amplify other stones, and wearing something too big with another stone in any jewelry type but a bracelet is too much.

Be very careful with this, otherwise the quartz piece will also amplify everything, good and bad, going on in the chakra that the ring you are wearing quartz combined with another stone type corresponds to.
